Break out your flip flops and board-shorts for the new Ultimate Chicago Beach League 2009 starting on Tuesday, July 21st and running through August 25th!

90 players across six randomly-assigned teams will compete every Tuesday in two 5-on-5 games between 6:30 and 9:30 pm. Following Sandblast rules the man/woman ratio will be 3/2. The two primary objectives of this mini-league are to measure the interest for an official league in 2010 and to recruit new players, specifically those that may have not tried the sport due to remote fields like Schiller and Washington.

Ultimate Chicago has paid to reserve the lighted Montrose Beach space and the cost to you is just $10 cash for the entire season due week one on July 21st along with a signed waiver. Based on this program’s focus on new players, 24 of the 90 spots will be reserved for new players, so please share this opportunity with your friends. Additionally, these 24 new players will play for free, and to help them learn the game there will be 30 minute teaching clinics prior to games on second (7/28) and third (8/4) weeks.

Waivers can be turned in at Sandblast or the first night (7/21), while payment will only be collected on opening night.
