Sandblast
will be "live" at Montrose Beach from 9:30 am to 5 pm Saturday, July 10th and
Sunday, July 11th.
In addition to watching these
athletic men and women running and diving across the sand, there is going to be
plenty of sun (knock on wood), lake water and musical entertainment from
Underground DJ Bobo from 10-5 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday.
Admission is FREE, parking is
FREE and riding your bike is definitely FREE!
For those experienced with sporting events or looking to see the "best of the best", Saturday will be "pool play" and Sunday will be elimination rounds. The Championship Game will take place at 3 pm on Sunday, so come see who is crowned kings and queens of the beach.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Is there parking? Yes, Montrose Beach does have spots along the street and a large parking lot where spots are free. We do recommend that you ride your bike, roller blades or take public transportation as getting in and out can be difficult at times.
2. Are there refreshments? Yes, there are vending stands for food and drink at the beach area. You also can bring your own little picnic. Even though our event is generously supported b Chipotle, Whole Foods and more, our permits only allow us to share with our player participants.
3. Can I play? Unfortunately and fortunately, all of our team spots are full and we encourage you to check it out. Ultimate Chicago will be hosting a FREE clinic each day around lunchtime where you can learn or show off your skills with targets and other games for prizes!
We appreciate your interest in playing and encourage you to check www.ultimatechicago.org for pickup and leagues in the Chicago area that are always looking for beginners and experienced players. There is also a beach league that is starting on Tuesday, July 21st on Tuesday nights at Montrose Beach.
